To say that the world of work as we know it has been flipped upside down is an understatement. We’re altering where we sit to conduct our tasks and setting up new routines to get things done since we’re physically functioning differently. However, the way we think about work in general has changed. It’s no longer the 1950’s ideal of fedora-hatted daddy coming in the door from the ad agency ready for a microwave-blasted lasagna dinner. Now it’s the idea of both mom and dad having their own careers, raising a family in between, and dealing with the pressures of social media and societal change – it’s a balancing act that our ancestors never could have imagined.
